We are considered an out-of-network provider. Many of our clients have been reimbursed a majority of their out-of-pocket cost from insurance. All reimbursements are dependent on your specific plan. Please contact your insurance provider to see if our services (CPT codes: 90832, 90837, 90847) would be reimbursed. Also, I’m pleased to offer a limited number of appointments on a sliding scale basis.
Receipts of service with insurance coding can be provided for reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Please note that we follow a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. In the event that you are not able to keep your appointment please provide verbal or written notice at least 24 hours in advance, and 48 hours advance notice for Monday appointments. Missed appointments or cancellations without the 24-hour notice will be billed for the full session rate.
GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE:
As of January 1, 2022, state-licensed or certified health care providers need to give a Good Faith Estimate of healthcare charges to every new and continuing client who is either uninsured or is not planning to submit a claim to their insurance for the healthcare services they seek. As an out-of-network provider many of our clients will choose to not submit to their insurance provider therefore they are eligible to receive a Good Faith Estimate. The Good Faith Estimate is a part of the new client paperwork completed at the time of scheduling the client’s initial session.
All of our services are pay-as-you-go, therefore you are only ever agreeing to the next appointment you schedule. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours or not attended without notice, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session. Most of our clients are in therapy with us for at least 6 months to a year and appropriate frequency is assessed during the initial session and reassessed at every follow up session.
For example, if you schedule a new client appointment with Kristin Goodwin LPC, CEDS the total investment would be estimated at $140. If you then continue seeing Kristin weekly for a total of 10 sessions the total investment would be estimated at $1400.00 (10 appointments at $140 per appointment). Payment is due at the time the service is provided and you will only ever be charged for an appointment at the time the appointment is conducted. We never charge for future appointments. Services can be discontinued at any given point as long as 24 hour notice is given for any scheduled appointment.
